Electrovaya Inc. has been ranked fourth among the Enterprise-Industry Leaders in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 program after recording four-year revenue growth of 354%. The recognition marks the company’s fourth consecutive appearance on the ranking and its second consecutive year in the Enterprise category.

#Enterprise-Industry Leaders category

Deloitte’s Enterprise-Industry Leaders category assesses enterprise-level companies in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors according to revenue growth over their last four years of operation.

Companies included in the category recorded minimum revenue of $10 million in 2021 and $50 million in 2025. The Technology Fast 50 program includes public and private technology companies and operates alongside the Deloitte North American Technology Fast 500 program. Winners are automatically eligible for that broader ranking.

#Electrovaya’s battery technology and markets

Electrovaya designs and manufactures lithium-ion batteries, battery systems and related products. Its stated applications include energy storage, clean electric transportation and other specialised uses.

Chief Executive Officer Dr. Raj Das Gupta attributed the company’s continued growth to increasing adoption of its Infinity Battery Technology. He said the technology is intended to improve safety and longevity in mission-critical electrified applications.

Electrovaya said it is seeing growing interest from the material handling, robotics, defense and AI data center infrastructure sectors. The company’s shares trade on NASDAQ under NASDAQ:ELVA and on the TSX under TSX:ELVA.

#Planned Jamestown expansion

Electrovaya’s growth strategy includes customer partnerships, product development and investment in manufacturing capacity. The company said its planned expansion in Jamestown, New York, is expected to support increased production capacity and its long-term growth objectives.

Electrovaya has a 52-acre site in Jamestown with a 135,000 square foot manufacturing facility intended for its planned gigafactory.

#Risks and uncertainties

Electrovaya said its forward-looking statements involve risks and uncertainties, and that actual results may differ materially from those expressed or implied. The company identified potential factors including macroeconomic effects, inflation, tightening credit availability due to systemic bank risk, broader economic conditions, consumer demand, capital availability, labor shortages, supply chain constraints, and end users’ demand for and use of its products.

The company also said expectations relating to new technologies, products, production roadmaps and aggregate sales rely on customers and users, including Amazon, collaborating on development and deploying products in line with communicated intentions.
