HarrisQuest has launched HarrisQuest MCP, a Model Context Protocol connector that brings licensed brand and reputation data into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. The add-on also allows users to send selected outputs back to the HarrisQuest platform.

#Licensed data available inside AI assistants

The connector makes the data covered by a client’s HarrisQuest subscription available alongside the organisation’s own information. This includes more than 50 licensed metrics, daily updates, brand equity and consideration measures, six dimensions of reputation, and custom questions created by the client.

HarrisQuest MCP provides the supporting details for each result. Returned figures include the relevant sample size, definition and research method, allowing users to review the basis of an answer.

#Read-and-write workflow

Users can ask an AI assistant to access licensed HarrisQuest information and then save work to the HarrisQuest software. The available outputs include saved views, reports, competitive sets and audience segments.

The connector also supports recurring report schedules, on-demand refreshes and dashboard creation based on user requests. It cannot alter survey data.

#Research coverage and performance

HarrisQuest is powered by The Harris Poll and conducts about 200 interviews per brand each week across more than 4,000 brand-market combinations in 24 countries.

The connector runs on HarrisQuest’s Data API v2. In a company test involving 25 people submitting questions at the same time, the median response time was 1.7 seconds.

#Access and subscription requirements

HarrisQuest MCP is available as an add-on to a HarrisQuest subscription. Activation requires one person from the client company and one person from HarrisQuest, and users do not need to create a new account.

Seats are unlimited, but access remains controlled by the company’s licence. Users see only the brands, markets and modules included in their organisation’s licences. Each person signs in with an existing login, while data returned through the connector is handled under the client’s agreement with its AI provider. Access can be disabled for any account at any time.

#Company statements and next product

Justin Pincus, Managing Director and Head of Product at HarrisQuest, said the connector is intended to help clients work more quickly while maintaining accuracy. He identified scheduled report updates, combining HarrisQuest information with client data and returning work to the platform as supported uses.

Jonathan Gardner, CEO of HarrisQuest, said the connector is designed to make brand and reputation insights available to more teams through the AI tools and workflows they already use.

HarrisQuest also said AI Visibility will measure how often ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude recommend a brand. The company said that product will become available through the same connector when it launches later this month.
