Viking Global Technologies Says VKIN-300 Receives French Attestation of Conformity
Viking Global Technologies says its indirect majority-owned subsidiary, Viking Ozone Technology, received a French conformity attestation for the VKIN-300 ozone-based medical waste treatment system.
Viking Global Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB:VGTK) said on November 3, 2026 that its indirect majority-owned subsidiary, Viking Ozone Technology, LLC, had received a formal French Attestation of Conformity for the VKIN-300 ozone-based system used to treat medical and biohazardous waste.
Laboratoire national de métrologie et d'essais (LNE), France's national laboratory for metrology and testing, issued Attestation No. 41506-0 on October 28, 2026. LNE is approved by the French Ministry of Social Affairs and Health to issue the attestations.
The document applies to the VKIN 300 SD configuration and confirms that the equipment meets the regulatory and normative requirements identified in the attestation, including French standard NF X 30-503-1:2024. It is valid through October 27, 2031 and may be renewed once.
The attestation remains subject to continuing requirements. Its validity may be called into question if applicable product requirements change or the equipment is modified.
#Completion of previously identified regulatory process
Viking said the attestation completes a French regulatory milestone that followed the incorporation of NF X 30-503-1:2024 into the country's framework for equipment used in the pretreatment by disinfection of infectious healthcare waste.
On October 5, 2026, the company said an LNE Technical Committee review was scheduled for October 14, 2026. It also said formal conformity documentation could be issued by the end of October, subject to completion of the remaining review procedures. The attestation issued on October 28, 2026 followed that review process for the certified configuration.
The VKIN-300 is described as a commercial-scale system for regulated medical, infectious and biohazardous waste. It uses ozone rather than conventional treatment methods including incineration and autoclaving, with monitoring and control functions intended to manage treatment parameters, collect operating data and maintain treatment records.
As part of the conformity assessment, the system underwent independent laboratory testing under NF X 30-503-1. LNE's evaluation report recorded satisfactory findings in assessments covering biological-indicator treatment, infectious-waste treatment, microbial regrowth, airborne microbial contamination and particle-size testing.
The certified treatment process requires a minimum average ozone concentration of 3,500 parts per million during a 45-minute cycle.
Viking Ozone intends to continue discussions with prospective customers, distributors and strategic partners. The company also said the independent validation may serve as a technical and regulatory reference as it and its partners pursue opportunities in other international markets, subject to applicable local requirements and approvals.
The attestation applies only to the VKIN 300 SD configuration under the referenced French requirements. It is not regulatory approval in any other jurisdiction and does not guarantee site-specific authorisation.
Commercial deployment remains subject to applicable regulatory requirements, customer demand, financing, manufacturing and installation capabilities, and other commercial considerations. Viking said there can be no assurance that the attestation will lead to purchase orders, revenue or commercial adoption. The company also identified risks involving financing, customer acceptance and demand, the absence of binding customer commitments, manufacturing and installation execution, and the validity, maintenance and renewal of the attestation. Changes in French or other regulatory requirements, as well as additional regulatory or site-specific approvals, could also affect commercialisation.

As part of the French conformity assessment process, the VKIN-300 underwent independent laboratory testing under French standard NF X 30-503-1. LNE's accompanying evaluation report recorded satisfactory findings across applicable assessments, including biological-indicator treatment, infectious-waste treatment, microbial regrowth, airborne microbial contamination and particle-size testing.
The formal attestation identifies the certified treatment process as requiring a minimum average ozone concentration of 3,500 parts per million during a 45-minute cycle. The system uses a proprietary dynamic ozone-treatment process with monitoring and control capabilities designed to manage treatment parameters, collect operating data and maintain treatment records.
The VKIN-300 is a commercial-scale system designed to treat regulated medical, infectious and biohazardous waste using ozone. Viking describes it as an alternative to conventional treatment methods, including incineration and autoclaving.
Viking Global Technologies said the formal attestation achieved a previously identified French regulatory milestone for the certified equipment configuration. On October 5, 2026, the Company had said that the French government had incorporated NF X 30-503-1:2024 into its regulatory framework and that the remaining review procedures included an LNE Technical Committee review scheduled for October 14, 2026.
President and Chief Executive Officer James Doris said the attestation represented the culmination of considerable time, engineering expertise and capital invested in independent testing and regulatory work. The Company said the milestone provides a foundation for its commercialisation strategy, while noting that commercial deployment remains subject to regulatory, customer, financing, manufacturing, installation and other commercial considerations.
Viking Ozone intends to continue its commercialisation initiatives, including engagement with prospective customers, distributors and strategic partners. The Company also said it and its partners may pursue opportunities in other international markets, subject to applicable local requirements and approvals.
Viking Global Technologies identifies risks including the need to obtain financing, customer acceptance and demand, the absence of binding customer commitments, manufacturing and installation execution, and the validity, maintenance and renewal of the attestation. The Company also says that changes in French or other regulatory requirements and additional regulatory or site-specific approvals could affect commercialisation, and that there can be no assurance the attestation will result in purchase orders, revenue or commercial adoption.
