Laser Photonics Corporation (NASDAQ:LASE) has announced that its corporate name will change to LASE Corp. effective November 4, 2026. The company said the rebranding is intended to simplify its corporate structure, improve communication with investors and customers, and place greater emphasis on defense applications while maintaining its pharmaceutical, semiconductor and industrial operations.

#Corporate structure and website changes

Executive Chairman Dmitriy Nikitin said the company wants investors and customers to have a clearer view of its activities beyond industrial laser equipment. LASE Corp. will use its corporate website for investor relations, while existing brand and licensed websites are planned to undergo phased relaunches over the next several weeks.

Once the relaunches are complete, each brand will focus on one of the company’s four principal markets. Beamer Laser will represent the industrial business; Laser Photonics will cover the semiconductor and quantum computing markets; Control Micro Systems, also known as CMS Laser, will serve the pharmaceutical and medical markets; and Fonon Technologies, Inc. will represent defense and security activities.

#Defense technology plans

As part of its stated defense focus, the company plans to introduce the Quantum Bullet™ anti-drone laser platform at I/ITSEC in Orlando, Florida, from November 30 through December 3, 2026. LASE Corp. also plans to present a product-introduction film at the event.

The Quantum Bullet™ range includes the Laser Shield Anti-Drone, or LSAD, Series. The company describes the LSAD Series as a modular directed-energy platform under development for Group 1 and Group 2 drone threats.

According to the company, the platform is being designed with laser capabilities, detection systems and AI-enabled tracking and targeting. It is intended to operate independently or to connect with multilayered air-defense command-and-control systems.

#Four principal markets

LASE Corp. describes itself as a defense and directed-energy quantum technology platform. Its stated activities include developing laser applications for defense and security needs and applying industrial laser products to domestic manufacturing infrastructure required to support U.S. national security.

The company says it develops platforms for defense, semiconductor, pharmaceutical and industrial markets. It also says it intends to broaden its technology portfolio, expand advanced manufacturing capabilities and scale the enterprise profitably through internal development, strategic acquisitions and partnerships.

#Forward-looking statements

The company said its plans, prospects and potential results include forward-looking statements based on current expectations and assumptions. It warned that risks and uncertainties could cause actual results and uses of proceeds to differ materially from those statements.

LASE Corp. referred readers to the risk factors in its filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission and cautioned that its forward-looking statements speak only as of the date of the announcement. The company said it has no obligation to revise or update those statements except where required by applicable laws or regulations. Further terms and conditions stated in the company’s release and filings apply.
