Nexscient Reports New and Extended Flipside AI Customer Engagements
Nexscient announced several customer developments at its Flipside AI subsidiary, including new data collection work, expanded autonomous-driving annotation capacity and agreements covering 3D and computer vision services.
Nexscient, Inc. (OTCQB:NXNT) has announced several commercial developments at its wholly owned subsidiary, Flipside Digital Content Company, Inc., known as Flipside AI. The activities over the past three months include new production work, an extension to an existing data collection programme and additional annotation agreements involving autonomous driving and artificial intelligence customers.
Flipside AI signed a production statement of work and extended an existing customer programme for real-world data collection. The company provides video data collection services for customers developing robotics and embodied AI systems.
Nexscient said the work supports the collection of real-world examples used in the development and training of physical AI systems. Its services also include supervised annotation, quality assurance and delivery of AI training data.
Flipside AI continues to provide annotation services for autonomous-driving applications. The work includes computer vision, vision-language and driving-behaviour tasks.
The customer has requested continued capacity through the end of 2026. Discussions about future requirements are underway, but any future work volumes and staffing commitments remain dependent on customer decisions and agreement on programme terms.
Flipside AI also signed a statement of work with a global mobility and technology platform covering 3D annotation and related quality assurance services.
The agreement creates a direct customer relationship for a workstream that had previously been delivered through a tooling provider. Its stated term runs through July 31, 2027, unless it is ended earlier under the agreement’s provisions.
In October 2026, Flipside AI signed another statement of work with an existing AI customer. The agreement covers computer vision annotation and review services and renews monthly, subject to its termination provisions.
Fred E. Tannous, Nexscient’s President and Chief Executive Officer, said the developments involved continued work in data collection, annotation and quality assurance. He also said the company was aligning its operational capacity with changing customer requirements.
Anthony De Luna, Chief Executive Officer of Flipside AI and Chief Technology Officer of Nexscient, said physical AI systems rely on real-world data showing how people move, work and interact with their surroundings. He described Flipside AI’s capabilities as combining field operations, specialist teams and quality assurance systems.
Nexscient identified several uncertainties related to the engagements. Customers may delay, reduce, modify, terminate or decline to renew or expand their work. Discussions about future capacity may not result in agreed programme terms or purchase volumes, and revenue from the engagements may be lower than expected.
The company also cited dependence on a limited number of customers, difficulties recruiting and retaining qualified personnel, service-delivery requirements, international operations in the Philippines and Singapore, competition and rapid technological change in the AI industry, financing risks and the ability to meet the listing requirements of a national securities exchange.

Through Flipside AI, Nexscient provides integrated data engineering services spanning real-world data collection, supervised annotation, quality assurance and AI training data delivery. The company says it serves AI developers, humanoid robotics companies and autonomous mobility customers worldwide.
Anthony De Luna, Chief Executive Officer of Flipside AI and Chief Technology Officer of Nexscient, said physical AI depends on real-world data because robots and autonomous systems learn from examples of how people move, work and interact with their environments. He said Flipside AI combines field operations, experienced teams and quality assurance systems to provide data collection and annotation capabilities.

Tannous, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nexscient, said the developments underscored the company’s existing customer relationships and continued execution across data collection, annotation and quality assurance. He said Nexscient remains focused on delivering dependable, high-quality services while aligning operational capacity with changing customer requirements.
Nexscient said future requirements for the autonomous driving annotation work are still under discussion, with future work volumes and staffing commitments subject to customer decisions and agreement on programme terms. The company also identified the performance, duration, renewal and expansion of the engagements, as well as future revenue from them, as forward-looking matters that involve risks and uncertainties.
