BioLargo, Inc. (OTCQX:BLGO) has released a fireside chat focused on the commercial progress of its subsidiary Clyra Medical Technologies, including clinician feedback on ViaCLYR®, evaluations by U.S. healthcare systems and expansion through distribution partners.
#ViaCLYR Use Expands Following March Launch
ViaCLYR® is Clyra’s FDA 510(k)-cleared wound irrigation solution. According to BioLargo, the product has been used in treating hundreds of patients since its commercial launch in March 2026. The company reported highly favourable feedback from clinicians concerning the product’s performance and clinical utility.
The discussion followed the Fall 2026 Symposium on Advanced Wound Care in Las Vegas, where Clyra and its national distributor Advanced Solution featured ViaCLYR®. The video included Dennis P. Calvert, BioLargo’s President and CEO and Clyra’s Chairman, and Steve Harrison, Clyra’s CEO. Matt Kreps of Darrow Associates moderated the conversation.
#Healthcare System Reviews Remain Underway
Clyra is working through clinical evaluations and approval procedures with several U.S. healthcare systems. The process includes clinician trials, technical reviews, clinical support, hands-on product use, and committee assessment and approval.
The company said it is furthest along with a healthcare system that operates almost 20 hospitals and 200 clinics. Within that system, ViaCLYR® is being considered for advanced wound and burn care.
Steve Harrison said the process is being supported by clinicians who have used ViaCLYR® with patients and want to continue using it. He also described adoption by large healthcare systems as a disciplined process that Clyra is addressing with its distribution network.
#Distribution Relationships Cover U.S. and Middle East Markets
Clyra’s commercial distribution network includes Advanced Solution, Spartan Medical and Al Hikma. Advanced Solution provides access to approximately 85% of the U.S. market. Spartan Medical serves federal healthcare customers, including the Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs.
Al Hikma provides distribution coverage across 18 countries in the Middle East. Product registrations are underway in that region.
#Additional Product Line Planned With Confidential Partner
Clyra is preparing to introduce an additional product line with a confidential strategic partner. BioLargo said further details are expected as commercialization plans advance.
