Avino Reports Q3 2026 Production of 582,836 Silver Equivalent Ounces
Avino Silver & Gold Mines reported third-quarter 2026 production from its Avino and La Preciosa operations, with La Preciosa contributing 105,867 silver equivalent 1 ounces.
Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. reported third-quarter 2026 production of 303,189 silver ounces, 1,732 gold ounces and 1.1 million pounds of copper from its operations in Mexico. The company recorded total production of 582,836 silver equivalent 1 ounces for the three months ended September 30, 2026.
Avino processed 190,379 tonnes from its Avino and La Preciosa operations during the quarter. The company said throughput remained on plan, while feed grades were below plan as higher silver prices supported the processing of additional lower-grade development material from La Preciosa.
Silver production totalled 303,189 ounces, including 211,748 ounces from Avino and 91,441 ounces from La Preciosa. Gold production was 1,732 ounces, made up of 1,566 ounces from Avino and 166 ounces from La Preciosa. Copper production was 1,202,821 pounds, all from Avino.
Avino said silver production increased 15% during the quarter. Silver accounted for over 50% of the quarter's silver equivalent 1 production.
La Preciosa contributed 105,867 silver equivalent 1 ounces in Q3 2026, comprising 91,411 silver ounces and 166 gold ounces. Development production increased 5% from Q2 2026.
More than 3,000 metres of development had been completed at La Preciosa by the end of the quarter. Development mining rates and mill throughput at the project reached above 450 tonnes per day during Q3 2026, according to Avino.
Mine preparation was nearly complete on Level 3 of the Abundancia and La Gloria areas. Avino said this work would allow production long-hole mining to begin, with higher-grade material expected to be sent to the mill compared with the development ore processed to date. The company also said the development material had been affected by additional mining dilution.
Engineering and technical studies remain ongoing to assess long-term mining, hauling and processing rates. Avino has also completed trade-off studies and started preparing for a stand-alone processing facility at La Preciosa.
At La Preciosa, 10,675 meters of drilling had been completed by the end of Q3 2026 as part of planned 15,000 metres of exploration for 2026. Drilling had moved from infill work to exploration and step-out holes at priority targets, including vein intersections and projected extensions.
Avino said none of the infill holes completed to date had been included in the mineral reserve update in Q2 2026, while most exploration holes were outside the current resource model. Drilling was continuing at the Avino operation, where 9,400 metres had been completed as of September 30, 2026. A fuller update is due after assays and geological analyses are completed.
The company said it had identified mineralized material near its existing Avino workings that was outside current reserves. Because the material was accessible and could be processed through the site's independent mill circuits, Avino chose to mine, haul and process it in one of the larger circuits.
Avino said silver and gold grades from this material had been strong, while copper grades were lower. The near-surface material was also highly oxidized, which affected recovery. The company said it was prioritized over fresh underground ore because of its lower extraction cost and processing flexibility, as well as the prevailing metal price environment.
Under its normal course issuer bid, Avino had repurchased and cancelled 784,771 common shares by September 30, 2026. The company was permitted to repurchase for cancellation up to an aggregate of 8,428,566 common shares prior to April 7, 2027.
Avino said its Q3 2026 financial statements and results were scheduled for release after the market closes on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. A conference call covering the operational and financial results was scheduled for Thursday, November 5 th. 2026, at 8:00 AM PCT* (10:00 AM ET).
