Valion Bio, Inc. (Nasdaq:VBIO) said on September 22, 2026, that it had received written confirmation from The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC that the company had regained compliance with the exchange’s minimum bid price standard. Nasdaq’s Listing Qualifications Staff determined that the requirement had been met and closed the matter.

#Nasdaq compliance status

Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) requires listed securities to maintain a minimum closing bid price of $1.00 per share. Valion said its closing bid price remained at least $1.00 per share for the requisite period, satisfying the rule.

The notification addresses the cited minimum bid price matter. The company’s continued listing remains subject to applicable Nasdaq Capital Market standards, including its ability to maintain compliance with those requirements.

#Management priorities

Lisa Wolf, Valion’s President, COO and CFO, described the compliance decision as an important step for the company. She said Valion’s priorities include advancing Entolimod, pursuing commercial and government opportunities, and working toward milestones that the company believes could create long-term value for shareholders.

#Entolimod development programme

Valion is developing Entolimod as a potential medical countermeasure for Acute Radiation Syndrome. The candidate has been evaluated in animal models under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Animal Rule.

The FDA framework allows new drugs and biological products to be approved on the basis of animal efficacy studies when human clinical trials are not ethical or feasible, including circumstances involving acute radiation exposure. Entolimod has received Fast Track and Orphan Drug designations from the FDA.

Valion describes Entolimod as a Toll-like Receptor 5 agonist designed to activate NF-κB signalling pathways associated with cellular protection, tissue recovery and immune response. The company is also advancing Entolasta, a next-generation TLR5 agonist intended for potential broader applications, including oncology supportive care. Its pipeline includes potential programmes in neutropenia and immune dysfunction.

#Other company operations and stated risks

Valion’s wholly owned subsidiary, Velocity Bioworks, is a biologics contract development and manufacturing organisation that provides development and manufacturing services for the company’s internal pipeline. Valion said the subsidiary is intended to support manufacturing control, cost reduction, development timelines and domestic supply-chain security.

The company cautioned that its forward-looking statements are subject to substantial risks and uncertainties. These include the continued listing of its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market and its ability to maintain compliance with applicable listing standards. Valion said actual results could differ materially from its forward-looking statements and referred readers to its Securities and Exchange Commission filings, including its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2025, filed on March 30, 2026.
