Tectonic Metals Inc. (TSXV:TECT) (OTCQX:TETOF) has reported assay results from six reverse circulation drill holes at the Black Creek target within its Flat Gold Project in southwestern Alaska. The results include 2.86 g/t Au over 91.44 m in hole CMR26-159, with higher-grade intervals of 5.61 g/t Au over 41.15 m and 12.94 g/t Au over 13.72 m.

CMR26-159 was drilled 100 m south of Black Creek’s 2025 discovery hole and ended in high-grade mineralization. Tectonic said the result leaves mineralization open at depth, although the reported intercepts are downhole lengths and true widths have not yet been determined.

#Black Creek drilling results

CMR26-159 intersected the main mineralized interval from 22.86 m downhole. The 5.61 g/t Au interval covered the final 41.15 m of the hole and included 12.94 g/t Au over 13.72 m.

The hole was also located 30 m south of CMR26-152 and CMR26-153. Those holes returned 5.09 g/t Au over 21.34 m and 1.89 g/t Au over 57.91 m, respectively, and both ended in mineralization. Earlier hole CMR25-059, drilled in 2025, returned 4.50 g/t Au over 48.77 m.

Results from the other five holes were mixed. CMR26-158 returned 0.46 g/t Au over 30.48 m from surface, including 1.23 g/t Au over 6.10 m, along with a separate 0.31 g/t Au over 30.48 m interval.

CMR26-157 produced no significant gold intersections and ended at 42.67 m downhole, above the high-grade interval encountered in CMR26-159. Tectonic said the possible extension of the mineralization in that direction remains untested. Holes CMR26-154 to CMR26-156 encountered mainly lower-grade mineralization, with localized higher-grade results including 1.99 g/t Au over 1.52 m in CMR26-155.

The company said the included intervals are nested and not additive. It also said the reported lengths cannot currently be converted to true widths because insufficient information is available.

#Geological setting and exploration area

Black Creek gold is hosted in altered and hornfelsed Kuskokwim Group sedimentary rocks associated with quartz to quartz-carbonate-stibnite veining, oxidation, fracturing and intermediate to mafic dykes. This differs from the monzonite-dominant mineralization drilled at the Chicken Mountain target.

Tectonic said drilling has outlined mineralization across approximately 100 by 200 m and to a vertical depth of less than 200 m. The tested area sits within a 1,500 m by 700 m gold-in-soil anomaly, of which over 85% remains untested, and a 1.5 by 2.5 km geophysical anomaly interpreted to represent an intrusive centre.

The company identified hornfels along the margins of other intrusion-related targets at Flat, including Golden Apex, Horseshoe, Jam and Caribou, as well as at Chicken Mountain. Tectonic said the Black Creek results provide evidence supporting a second gold system within the Flat district, while the current drilling does not establish the size or continuity of the mineralization.

#Planned follow-up work

Tectonic said it has prioritised drilling beneath the open intersections in CMR26-159, CMR26-152 and CMR26-153, along with drilling between the strongest results to assess continuity. The company also plans oriented diamond core drilling to refine the geometry and structural controls of higher-grade zones.

Further work is expected to include step-outs along strike and down plunge where geological modelling identifies favourable hornfels, dyke margins and structural intersections. Tectonic also said it will use 2026 regional soil results, mapping and geophysics to rank additional targets across the Flat district.

The company reported that, through October 2026, it had completed 31,000 m of drilling in 166 holes, mainly at Chicken Mountain. The current release covers 525 m in six reverse circulation holes at Black Creek. Tectonic said assays from approximately 25,000 m in over 120 holes, mainly at Chicken Mountain, remain pending.

Tectonic has targeted a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Chicken Mountain in Q1 2027 and a Preliminary Economic Assessment in Q2 2027. These are company targets and remain subject to the conditions and risks described in its disclosure.

#Historical production and technical limitations

The company said placer mining on Black Creek and Upper Otter Creek produced approximately 450,000 ounces of gold, while a historical hard-rock mine at Black Creek reportedly produced approximately 2,707 ounces at an average grade of 12.00 g/t Au between 1925 and 1938. Tectonic cautioned that these historical figures have not been independently verified and are not current mineral resources. The historical production does not establish the size or continuity of the mineralization identified by current drilling.

Analytical work was conducted by ALS Global. Upon arrival at the laboratory, samples were dried, crushed to 2 mm and riffle split into nominal 500-gram subsample aliquots using prep codes CRU-31 and SPL-32a. Tectonic said quality assurance and quality control results were within acceptable limits.

The company also cautioned that geological descriptions and visual observations are preliminary, are not substitutes for laboratory assay results and do not demonstrate the economic viability of a mineral deposit. Further technical, geological and exploration terms apply to the reported work.
