NextTrip, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTRP) has announced plans to broaden the U.S. rollout of JOURNYGO after its initial beta phase. The company said the next stage will bring the travel-planning service to more JOURNY TV programming and selected U.S. distribution platforms.

JOURNYGO links travel content with curated itineraries, booking exploration and access to travel-planning specialists. NextTrip said the beta activity showed viewers moving from destination programming into itinerary research and travel shopping.

#Beta activity and planned content

In the initial test, as many as 30% of viewers clicked through to JOURNYGO. The company also said content on the service currently averages nearly 10 minutes of engagement per active user.

NextTrip management believes these early results indicate continued viewer interest in the destinations and experiences presented on JOURNY TV. Management also believes JOURNYGO can help turn that interest into travel bookings.

Starting this month, the service is expected to include approximately 60 content pieces and itineraries. QR codes placed within programming will direct viewers to related episode and itinerary pages, where they can review travel options, move toward booking and contact a travel-planning expert for personalised assistance.

#Initial U.S. distribution

The first expansion is focused on the United States. NextTrip said JOURNY TV content included in the rollout is distributed through Samsung TV Plus and Plex, with video on demand also available through the JOURNY TV service.

As deployment progresses, the company expects the service to appear alongside additional shows, episode-specific QR placements and promotional spots. The current JOURNYGO rollout remains focused on selected U.S. platforms and programming.

JOURNY TV itself is available in approximately 100 countries through more than a dozen major streaming platforms, with distribution reaching approximately 250 million connected TV devices worldwide. NextTrip described that wider distribution as a basis for potential future expansion, while the present JOURNYGO initiative remains U.S.-focused.

#Connecting viewing with travel planning

NextTrip is positioning JOURNYGO as a route from destination-focused video to itinerary discovery and travel assistance. The company said JOURNYGO now provides navigation by show or destination, with video links where available, and combines human-curated itineraries with access to planning experts.

AI has helped match programming with existing itineraries, while NextTrip is evaluating additional AI-assisted trip-planning functions for potential future software upgrades. The company has not said that those upgrades will be deployed.

NextTrip also cited Expedia Group’s Unpack '26 report, which found that 81% of Gen Z and Millennial travellers plan getaways based on destinations they have seen on screen. The company said this behaviour supports its approach of linking travel storytelling with itinerary exploration and booking.

#Advertiser and sponsor measurement

NextTrip said JOURNYGO may support travel-booking revenue alongside advertising and sponsorship revenue associated with JOURNY programming. The company intends to examine engagement from media exposure through itinerary exploration and travel shopping.

Any campaign measurement, follow-up marketing and future sponsorship offerings are subject to applicable consent and privacy requirements. NextTrip said engagement data could help it and its partners develop content, campaigns and travel offers, but those plans are forward-looking and remain subject to the company’s stated risks and uncertainties.

#Canadian travel-planning arrangement

Separately, NextTrip’s announced Canadian joint venture with The Travel Agent Next Door provides a channel for personalised travel-planning assistance in Canada. Consumers responding to NextTrip campaigns are to be directed to a dedicated JOURNYGO Travel website or telephone service and connected with TTAND advisors for individual and group travel assistance.

#JOURNY brand and technology structure

The JOURNYGO plans form part of NextTrip’s broader consolidation of its media operations under the JOURNY brand and a common technology stack. Casey D’Ambra, President of Media at NextTrip, said the company’s next step is to bring the service to more programming and viewers while maintaining access to travel-planning experts.

Bill Kerby, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NextTrip, said the company’s media assets and technology structure are intended to support the extension of these tools across its network. NextTrip operates JOURNY TV, TravelMagazine.com, JOURNYGO, YADA’s creator-commerce capabilities, Five Star Alliance, NextTrip Travel and NextTrip Pro’s advisor and group travel services.

The company said its forward-looking plans are subject to risks and uncertainties, including regulatory policies, available cash resources, competition from similar businesses, and market and general economic factors.
