NeuralCloud and Etisense Agree to Explore MaxYield ECG Integration for Animal Research
AI/ML Innovations subsidiary NeuralCloud Solutions has entered an agreement with Etisense to assess the use of MaxYield for animal-model ECG analysis in preclinical research.
AI/ML Innovations Inc. said its wholly owned subsidiary, NeuralCloud Solutions Inc., has entered into an agreement with Etisense SAS to assess the use of MaxYield™ for animal-model ECG labelling and analysis within Etisense’s LASA software. The agreement is dated October 27, 2026, and was announced on October 29, 2026.
Under the arrangement, NeuralCloud will first conduct a validation stage using representative ECG files at no charge to Etisense. Progression beyond validation is subject to Etisense’s written approval.
The parties expect validation to be followed by technical work connecting MaxYield™ with the LASA workflow and then by online licensing for continued customer use. The agreement does not make those later stages certain. AI/ML Innovations identified possible validation shortfalls, a decision by Etisense not to proceed, technical and integration issues, and the potential termination or non-renewal of an online licence on 30 days' notice among the relevant risks.
The initial work is intended to cover large-animal models, including canine, porcine and primate models. Following validation of large-animal performance, the companies intend to evaluate whether the work can extend to small-animal models, including mouse and rat models.
NeuralCloud will supply the MaxYield™ signal-processing and labelling engine. Etisense will continue to manage its customer relationships, platform workflow and final review process. The agreement is non-exclusive, and NeuralCloud retains all intellectual property rights in MaxYield™.
MaxYield™ is described as NeuralCloud’s proprietary ECG processing technology. Its functions include improving signal clarity, identifying and labelling waveform components, calculating ECG intervals, detecting fiducial points and producing structured data for further analysis.
Etisense’s DECRO® system captures ECG, respiratory-function and locomotor-activity data from conscious, freely moving models without implant surgery. Its LASA software processes and analyses data from DECRO® and other third-party telemetry systems. In the proposed collaboration, MaxYield™ would operate as an additional ECG labelling and analysis layer within that existing workflow.
The companies are targeting workflows used by researchers, laboratories, contract research organisations and pharmaceutical partners conducting preclinical studies. The release describes potential applications in pharmacology, safety-toxicology, disease-model research and laboratory animal monitoring.
MaxYield™ has not received FDA or Health Canada clearance, authorisation or approval for clinical or diagnostic use. The current work with Etisense is limited to animal-model ECG labelling and preclinical research workflows. Any future regulated clinical or diagnostic use of MaxYield™ or related NeuralCloud products would be subject to applicable regulatory requirements, validation and approvals.
AI/ML Innovations said the arrangement is subject to uncertainties involving validation results, Etisense’s approval to move forward, technical performance, integration, competition, market acceptance, regulatory review and applicable approvals. The company also identified uncertainty around end-customer adoption and related subscription revenue. Further terms and conditions apply to the transaction beyond those set out here.

NeuralCloud Solutions entered an agreement dated October 27, 2026, with Etisense to assess MaxYield™ within the LASA software workflow.
The first stage involves no-charge validation using representative ECG files, and further progress requires Etisense’s written approval.
Initial testing is focused on canine, porcine and primate models, with mouse and rat models to be evaluated after large-animal validation.
The agreement is non-exclusive, while NeuralCloud retains MaxYield™ intellectual property rights and Etisense keeps responsibility for customer relationships and final review.

AI/ML Innovations Inc. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, NeuralCloud Solutions Inc., entered into an agreement dated October 27, 2026 with Etisense SAS. The companies will work together to integrate NeuralCloud’s MaxYield™ as an AI-powered ECG labelling and analysis layer for animal-model ECG data captured through Etisense’s LASA software.
AI/ML Innovations Inc. announced the agreement on October 29, 2026. The agreement itself is dated October 27, 2026.
The collaboration will begin with large-animal models, including canine, porcine and primate models. The parties intend to evaluate extension to small-animal models, including mouse and rat models, following validation of large-animal performance.
MaxYield™ will provide an ECG signal-processing and labelling layer beneath Etisense’s LASA workflow. NeuralCloud will provide the labelling engine, while Etisense will retain its customer relationships, platform workflow and final review process.
The parties expect to begin by validating representative ECG files, followed by technical integration with Etisense’s LASA workflow and subsequent online licensing for ongoing customer use. Progression beyond the validation stage is subject to Etisense’s written approval.
No, the agreement is non-exclusive. NeuralCloud also retains all intellectual property rights in MaxYield™.
MaxYield™ is NeuralCloud’s proprietary ECG signal-processing engine, designed to improve ECG signal clarity, isolate and label waveform components, calculate ECG intervals, detect fiducial points and generate structured outputs for downstream analysis. In the Etisense collaboration, it is expected to support animal-model ECG labelling and interval extraction within LASA software.
Etisense provides its DECRO® wearable telemetry solution and LASA software suite. DECRO® captures ECG, respiratory function and locomotor activity in conscious, freely moving models without implant surgery, while LASA processes and analyses signals from wearables and other third-party systems.
Esmat Naikyar, President of NeuralCloud Solutions Inc. and Chief Product Officer of AI/ML Innovations Inc., said the integration could bring NeuralCloud’s ECG signal-processing and labelling capabilities into preclinical research. He also described the collaboration as demonstrating the use of MaxYield™ across human and animal ECG applications.
NeuralCloud will provide MaxYield™ as a signal-processing and labelling technology, while Etisense will retain responsibility for customer relationships, workflow delivery and final review. The parties aim to provide more efficient ECG interpretation workflows for researchers, laboratories, contract research organisations and pharmaceutical partners conducting preclinical studies.
MaxYield™ has not received FDA or Health Canada clearance, authorisation or approval for clinical or diagnostic use. The Etisense collaboration is focused on animal-model ECG labelling and preclinical research workflows, while any future regulated clinical or diagnostic use would be subject to applicable regulatory requirements, validation and approvals.
AI/ML Innovations Inc. identifies risks including validation results not meeting Etisense’s requirements, Etisense choosing not to proceed beyond a stage, technical performance and integration risks, competition, market acceptance and regulatory review. The company also says the online licence may be terminated or not renewed on 30 days’ notice, and that customer adoption and resulting subscription revenue are uncertain.
AI/ML Innovations Inc. says its shares trade on the Canadian Securities Exchange under CSE:AIML, the OTCQB Venture Market under AIMLF, and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under FWB:42FB.
