Laser Photonics Announces Quantum Bullet Anti-Drone Platform Launch at I/ITSEC
Laser Photonics Corporation said it will introduce its Quantum Bullet anti-drone platform at I/ITSEC in Orlando, Florida, with the LSAD Series designed for Group 1 and Group 2 drone threats.
Laser Photonics Corporation (NASDAQ:LASE) has announced plans to introduce its Quantum Bullet™ anti-drone platform at I/ITSEC in Orlando, Florida, from November 30th through December 3rd, 2026. The company is developing the system for counter-drone applications involving Group 1 and Group 2 threats.
Quantum Bullet™ includes Laser Photonics’ Laser Shield Anti-Drone (LSAD) Series. The company describes LSAD as a modular directed-energy platform intended to combine laser-based counter-drone technology with detection, tracking and command-and-control systems provided by LASE and its integration partners.
Laser Photonics said the platform is being developed with different laser and power configurations for varying tactical scenarios. The company also said the system could operate independently or be incorporated into a multi-layered air-defence platform intended for perimeter protection at military and government facilities.
#Configurations for Drone Disruption and Destruction
The Dazzler configuration is intended to interfere with the optical sensors used by Group 1 and Group 2 drones. Laser Photonics separately described a higher-energy palletized laser configuration intended to destroy drone threats.
The LSAD offering also includes a crawler module intended for rapid deployment across all-terrain environments. The company said this configuration is designed to destroy drone threats.
Laser Photonics said its dynamic-focusing “Kill Module” is being designed to work with multi-sensor detection and tracking systems based on Sensor Open Systems Architecture principles. The proposed setup would also connect with a command-and-control platform.
Executive Chairman Dmitriy Nikitin said the development of a laser beam director represents only one element of creating a cost-effective, quickly deployable and energy-efficient anti-drone system. He also said the company expects I/ITSEC to provide an opportunity to engage with potential customers and partners.
