Klondike Gold Completes 2026 Drilling as Resource Estimate Update Remains Targeted for H1 2027
Klondike Gold has completed its 2026 diamond drilling programme at the Klondike District Project and is continuing work toward an updated Mineral Resource Estimate targeted for the first half of 2027.
Klondike Gold Corp. has completed its 2026 diamond drilling programme at the 100%-owned Klondike District Project in Yukon and is continuing work on an updated Mineral Resource Estimate targeted for the first half of 2027. The company also reported royalty gold from the Montana Creek Placer Property and proceeds from warrant and stock option exercises.
The planned update is expected to incorporate relevant drilling completed between 2022 and 2026 and reassess existing resources at the Lone Star and Stander Zones. Klondike Gold also plans to include gold and assess tellurium within the Lone Star deposit.
The company will evaluate whether additional nearby mineralized zones can be included, subject to sufficient supporting geological data and the applicable resource-estimation criteria.
Completion is targeted for the first half of 2027, but remains dependent primarily on outstanding laboratory results, their interpretation, resource modelling and technical reporting. Site visits and field reviews by independent Qualified Person(s) have been completed, while the analytical results, modelling and reporting needed to support the updated NI 43-101 estimate remain outstanding.
Klondike Gold completed approximately 12,446 meters of diamond drilling in 60 holes during 2026. The work tested potential extensions northwest and southeast of the existing pit-constrained Lone Star Mineral Resource Estimate area, along with selected gaps identified in the 2022 Lone Star pit-shell model.
Complete assay results from the programme have not yet been received. The company attributed delays to demand for laboratory services and the need to use separate analytical methods for gold and tellurium. Results from density measurements, metallic-screen work and fire-assay checks are also pending.
Samples from the final holes targeting the Lone Star Zone were expected to enter the analytical queue by the end of October 2026. Klondike Gold said it would report complete results after review and interpretation.
Klondike Gold reported cumulative 2026 receipts of 544.14 ounces of placer flake gold at approximately 82% purity from Armstrong Mining Corp.'s operations at the Montana Creek Placer Property through October 15, 2026. The company said this represented an increase of 238.6 ounces since its August 26, 2026 update.
After refining and the deduction of applicable processing fees, approximately 440 ounces of gold at 99.99% purity had been credited to Klondike Gold and held on account.
As of October 10, 2026, Klondike Gold had received approximately $497,000 from the exercise of 3,500,000 warrants and stock options.
The company said proceeds from these exercises, together with proceeds from any future sale of royalty gold, are intended to support further exploration and resource evaluation at the Klondike District Project and general corporate purposes.
Klondike Gold is a Canadian exploration company focused on its 100%-owned Klondike District Project in Yukon Territory. The project covers 727 square kilometers of mineral tenure in the historic Klondike Goldfields placer district. The company also holds a mining production royalty interest in the Montana Creek Placer Property.
Klondike Gold stated that the timing and results of pending assays, availability of financing, exploration personnel and equipment, weather and field conditions, permitting and regulatory requirements, commodity price changes, and changes to business plans could affect forward-looking matters. The company also noted that future royalty receipts from Montana Creek operations and the intended use of royalty proceeds depend on stated assumptions and risks.

Klondike Gold announced that work is underway on an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for its 100%-owned Klondike District Project, that its 2026 diamond drilling programme had been completed, and that it had received additional Montana Creek gold royalties. The company also reported proceeds from warrant and stock option exercises.
Klondike Gold is targeting completion of the updated Mineral Resource Estimate in the first half of 2027. The timing remains subject to outstanding analytical results, their interpretation, resource estimation and technical reporting.

Complete analytical results remain outstanding because of laboratory services demand and Klondike Gold’s need for separate analytical methods for gold and tellurium, which contributed to slower-than-projected results. Results from density measurements, additional metallic-screen work and fire-assay check work are also pending.

Klondike Gold currently plans to include gold and assess tellurium within the Lone Star deposit for the resource estimate update. The company said tellurium is associated with gold mineralisation at Lone Star and is designated a critical mineral by Canada and other governments.

Klondike Gold said completion of the updated estimate depends primarily on receiving and interpreting outstanding laboratory results, followed by resource modelling and technical reporting. The company also identified risks including the timing and results of pending assays, the availability of financing and exploration resources, permitting and regulatory requirements, weather and field conditions, and changes in its business plans or commodity prices.
