High Tide Resources Corp. (CSE:HTRC) has reported its third set of assay results from the Labrador West Iron Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, including an interval measuring 99.8 metres and grading 31.7% Fe. The company said the results, together with previously released assays, represent the results received to date from the relevant drill holes.
High Tide said hole 26LB0082 intersected a thick zone of higher-grade iron mineralisation beginning almost at surface near the eastern boundary of the current deposit limits. Hole 26LB0084 returned strong grade and thickness beyond the current northern limit, according to the company.
The two holes are more than 1,800 metres apart from north to south. Steve Roebuck, High Tide’s president and chief executive officer, said the results may indicate a mineralised system of significant scale and that the system remains open in all directions. This is the company’s interpretation of the drilling results and does not represent a revised mineral resource estimate.
True widths are estimated at 80 to 90% of drill-core length. High Tide defines significant Fe (%) values as weighted length averages of continuous total iron above 18%, while allowing intervals up to 9 metres below that grade.
High Tide completed 27 drill holes during its summer campaign, covering a total of 6335 metres of HQ & NQ core. The company previously disclosed drilling assays on 31 August and 16 September.
Hole 26LB0080 was stopped 20 m downhole for technical reasons. High Tide said additional assay results will be disclosed when they are received, but did not provide a further release date.
The Labrador West Iron Project is located 20 km northeast of and adjacent to the Iron Ore Company of Canada’s Carol Lake Mine complex in Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador. Rio Tinto is the majority owner of IOC.
High Tide owns a 100% interest in the project. The company reports an NI 43-101 Inferred mineral resource of 655 Mt at 28.84% Fe, based on a technical report dated April 6, 2023. The resource is exposed at surface and was pit constrained for an open-pit mining scenario.
Independent laboratory ActLabs in Ancaster, Ontario, completed the assays. The testing used lithium metaborate fusion to measure iron content, followed by wavelength dispersive XRF analysis.
Mercator Geological Services supervised the 2026 diamond drilling programme and its quality assurance and quality control procedures. High Tide said certified reference materials, blanks and standards were included, with standards inserted at every alternating 20th sample.
High Tide identifies access to hydroelectricity, highways, skilled labour and a common-carrier railway as infrastructure factors in the Labrador West area. The company said the railway has 80 million tonnes per year of capacity for transporting iron products to the deep-water port of Sept-Îles, Quebec.
On July 21, 2026, the governments of Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec and Canada announced a power generation and transmission agreement. Under that agreement, the federal government committed over $1 billion to construction of a Labrador West transmission line intended to support new mining and industrial projects in the Labrador Trough.
High Tide lists delays, failure to progress, and failure to obtain required approvals for the transmission line among the risks affecting its forward-looking information. The company also identifies risks related to commodity prices, financing, project approvals, operating and capital costs, resource conversion and mine development.
High Tide says it is focused on mineral projects it describes as critical to infrastructure development. Alongside the Labrador West Iron Project, the company owns a 100% interest in the Lac Pegma copper-nickel-cobalt deposit, located 50 kilometres southeast of Fermont, Quebec.
High Tide Resources announced its third set of assay results from its flagship Labrador West Iron Project, including an interval of 99.8 metres grading 31.7% Fe. The results, together with previously reported assays, comprise the complete results from the drill holes received to date.
High Tide Resources announced the assay results on October 27, 2026. The announcement covers results from the company’s 2026 summer drill campaign and the drill holes for which assays had been received at that date.
High Tide Resources’ Labrador West Iron Project is located 20 km northeast of, and adjacent to, Rio Tinto majority-owned Iron Ore Company of Canada’s Carol Lake Mine complex in Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador. The project is also located near Wabush, Labrador City and Fermont, Quebec.
High Tide Resources reported that hole 26LB0082 intersected a thick interval of higher-grade iron mineralisation beginning almost at surface along the eastern edge of the current deposit limits. The company said hole 26LB0084 returned strong grade and thickness beyond the current northern limit, with the two holes located more than 1,800 metres apart north to south.
Steve Roebuck, President and CEO of High Tide Resources, said the results may indicate a mineralised system of significant scale and that it remains open in all directions. This is management’s interpretation of the results rather than a stated increase to the company’s mineral resource.
High Tide Resources completed 27 drill holes for a total of 6335 metres of HQ & NQ core during its summer drill campaign. The company said it published two earlier drilling assay releases on 31 August and 16 September.
High Tide Resources said additional results will be disclosed when received. The announcement does not provide a further date for those results.
The assays were completed by independent laboratory ActLabs in Ancaster, Ontario, using lithium metaborate fusion and wavelength dispersive XRF analysis. High Tide Resources said its quality assurance and quality control programme included certified reference materials, blanks and standards, with standards submitted every 20th sample or at every alternating 20th sample.
High Tide Resources said true widths are estimated to be 80 to 90% of drill core length, and significant Fe (%) values are weighted length averages of continuous total iron greater than 18%, allowing for intervals up to 9 metres below that grade. The company also noted that all holes were drilled vertically at -90 degrees and that hole 26LB0080 was terminated 20 m downhole for technical reasons.
High Tide Resources reports a NI 43-101 Inferred mineral resource of 655 Mt at 28.84% Fe for the Labrador West Iron Project. The resource was set out in a technical report dated April 6, 2023, and the company said it is exposed at surface and was pit constrained for an open-pit mining scenario.
High Tide Resources is focused on developing mineral projects it describes as critical to infrastructure development, using industry best practices and a strong social licence from local communities. In addition to its 100% interest in the Labrador West Iron Project, it owns a 100% interest in the Lac Pegma copper-nickel-cobalt deposit, located 50 kilometres southeast of Fermont, Quebec.
High Tide Resources said the area has access to hydroelectricity, a highway, skilled labour and a common carrier railway. The company stated that the railway has 80 million tonnes per year of capacity to transport iron products to the deep-water port of Sept-Îles, Quebec, which provides year-round access to global markets.
On July 21, 2026, the governments of Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec and Canada jointly announced a power generation and transmission agreement under which the federal government committed over $1 billion to construction of a Labrador West transmission line. High Tide Resources said the line is necessary to open new mining and other industrial projects in the Labrador Trough; the company also lists delays, failure to progress and failure to obtain required approvals as risks to this forward-looking information.
