Grid Metals Corp. (TSXV:GRDM)(OTCQB:MSMGF) has reported mineralogical findings from the Lucy South pegmatite at its Falcon West Property in southeastern Manitoba, while outlining an initial ore-sorting test program and two investor relations agreements. The company said pollucite was the main cesium-bearing mineral identified at Lucy South.

#Pollucite identified at Lucy South

The mineralogical work covered 28 drill core samples from the Artdon and Lucy pegmatites. The samples were assessed using QEMSCAN and MLAS semi-quantitative analysis at two laboratories over a period of 12 months.

Of the samples from Lucy South, 15 came from the pollucite zone. Grid reported that pollucite was the dominant cesium-bearing phase in that zone, with muscovite and, to a lesser extent, biotite also identified. Samples from adjacent spodumene, wall, aplite and lepidolite zones did not contain significant quantities of pollucite, although some biotite-rich contact areas locally contained the mineral.

Grid reported a linear regression correlation coefficient of 0.98 between Cs 2 O grade and pollucite content within the Lucy South pollucite zone. The company also stated that 30% Cs 2 O equated to 80% pollucite. Pollucite was additionally identified in the Lucy North pegmatite.

#SGS Canada to conduct initial ore-sorting work

Grid has engaged SGS Canada to carry out an initial >300 kg ore-sorting test program. The stated purpose is to assess the potential for producing a marketable cesium-bearing pollucite concentrate and to provide material to potential end users for testing its suitability for cesium chemical production.

The composite sample is being sent to SGS Canada in Lakefield, Ontario, for grinding, blending and assay. Three size fractions are planned, with each to be sent to the Tomra ore-sorting test facility in Germany to assess Cs 2 O recoveries and concentrate grades.

Grid said a metallurgical study using ore-sorting technology will soon commence. The company said the work may help define the potential for a saleable Cs 2 O pollucite concentrate with a grade in the range of 10-20% Cs 2 O. This remains subject to the results of the planned ore-sorting and metallurgical test work and the assumptions and risks identified by the company. Additional mineral concentration testing and a microprobe study are also being considered for the fall.

#Investor relations agreements

Effective September 8, 2026, Grid entered into a consulting agreement with Grignan Holdings Ltd., doing business as Peterson Capital, for investor relations services. The Peterson Agreement has a term of twelve months and includes consultant fees of CDN$100,000. Of that amount, $65,000 will be paid up front and $35,000 after six months from available cash reserves. The agreement is subject to approval by the TSXV.

Peterson Capital is expected to assist with investor outreach, introductions to potential investor groups, conference participation, virtual meetings and the preparation and distribution of company-approved materials. Peterson Capital and its principals do not currently own securities of Grid, although they may purchase securities from time to time for investment purposes.

Grid also entered into an agreement with Triomphe Holdings Ltd., doing business as Capital Analytica, for marketing, social media and capital markets services. The initial term is six months and the fee is $150,000, payable from available cash reserves in two tranches. The agreement includes an option to renew for an additional six months for $75,000 unless it is terminated earlier under its terms.

Capital Analytica is entitled to a grant of 200,000 stock options within two months of the agreement date, on terms to be determined by Grid. Its services include social media consultation, social sentiment and engagement reporting, discussion forum monitoring, corporate video dissemination and other investor relations work. The Capital Analytica Agreement remains subject to TSXV approval. Capital Analytica and its principals do not currently own securities of Grid, but may purchase securities from time to time for investment purposes.

#Falcon West project context

Falcon West is a joint venture between Grid, with an 85% interest, and Avenir Minerals Limited, which has a 15% interest in the property. The stated project focus is the potential establishment of a cesium operation at the Lucy South cesium zone using crushing and XRT ore sorting to produce a cesium-bearing pollucite concentrate for downstream cesium chemical producers.

The property consists of 124 unpatented mining claims located 130 km east of Winnipeg and is crossed by the Trans Canada Highway. Resource delineation drilling for cesium and lithium began in October 2025 and concluded in February 2026. Grid said the Lucy South cesium zone has been defined over an area of approximately 120 metres x approximately 50 metres, with known pollucite mineralization over a true thickness of <1m to 4 metres. The zone remains partially open to the north, east and south.

Other arrangements referenced by Grid include an Option and Joint Venture Agreement between its Makwa Property and Teck Resources Limited. The company also said its Thompson East Property is subject to an Option and Joint Venture Agreement with Boliden Mineral Canada Ltd., with Boliden currently sole-funding early-stage exploration on that property.

#Risks and conditions

Grid said the proposed concentrate work, exploration and development plans are forward-looking and subject to risks including test-work results, financing availability and terms, permitting, regulatory approvals, environmental and operational matters, metallurgical performance, market conditions, unexpected costs and the ability of joint venture parties to meet their obligations. The company also identified risks related to commodity prices, market volatility, potential dilution from future financings and its ability to maintain adequate capital resources.

The company stated that its list of risks is not exhaustive and that actual outcomes may differ materially from its expectations. Further terms and conditions apply to the agreements and project arrangements described above.

Frequently Asked Questions

Grid Metals Corp. (TSXV:GRDM)(OTCQB:MSMGF) reported mineralogical results from the Lucy South pegmatite at its Falcon West Property in southeastern Manitoba. The company said pollucite, the preferred mineral for cesium processing, was the main cesium host mineral identified at Lucy South. The release also announced an initial >300 kg ore sorting test program with SGS Canada and two investor relations agreements, both subject to the conditions stated in the release.
The analysis covered 28 drill core samples from the Artdon and Lucy pegmatites using QEMSCAN and MLAS semi-quantitative analysis. For the Lucy South pollucite zone, the company reported that pollucite was by far the dominant cesium-bearing phase, with muscovite and, to a lesser extent, biotite also identified.
