First Breach Inc. (NASDAQ:FBDT) said its Close Quarters Strike (CQS) drone prototype completed a test mission combining a 2 km flight, a 500 g payload and a maximum speed of 120 km/h. The company described the November 5, 2026 flight as the first CQS test in which those three performance figures were demonstrated during one mission.

The flight was intended to assess the prototype against its published range, payload and speed specifications in a single sortie. First Breach said the result supported its proof-of-concept design and showed that the aircraft operated with its intended payload on board.

Jeffrey Low, co-founder and chief executive officer of First Breach, characterised the mission as an advance for the CQS programme. He said the test increased the company’s confidence as it works towards production and represented a step towards completing its initial prototypes.

#Prototype and production timetable

First Breach continues to target completion of its initial prototypes in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company plans to begin scaling production in the second quarter of 2027.

As its manufacturing operations expand, First Breach is targeting production capacity of more than 2,500 drones per week. The company said the timing and pace of that expansion remain subject to development, testing and manufacturing readiness.
