Bio Essence Announces Practitioner-Specific AI Development Agreement for MediFlow
Bio Essence Corporation has agreed with Zhituo Software to develop practitioner-focused AI and retrieval-augmented generation capabilities for the MediFlow platform.
Bio Essence Corporation (OTCQB:BIOE) has entered into a technology development agreement with Zhituo Software Co., Limited to add practitioner-focused artificial intelligence and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities to its MediFlow platform. The initiative is intended to give authorised healthcare and wellness practitioners tools for creating private AI assistants based on their own approved professional materials.
The planned work includes a secure Practitioner Knowledge Vault, RAG technology and practitioner-specific AI agents. The agreement also covers source provenance, role-based access controls, tenant isolation, audit logging, model orchestration and configurable safety controls.
Bio Essence said practitioners may use materials such as protocols, formulas, educational content and knowledge derived from cases when developing their private assistants. The initiative follows the completion of the company’s previously announced acquisition of the MediFlow AI platform from Zhituo.
Under the agreement, Bio Essence will own the technology created through the programme. This includes source code, RAG pipelines, AI workflows, APIs, configurations and related intellectual property. The ownership arrangement is subject to limited rights covering approved third-party and pre-existing components.
Development and delivery are currently scheduled for completion by December 15, 2026. The schedule remains subject to Bio Essence’s testing and acceptance procedures.
Zhituo is described as a Hong Kong-based software development company focused on health data management and AI-driven technical frameworks.
Bio Essence is developing a technology-enabled healthcare ecosystem intended to connect practitioners, patients, laboratories, pharmacies, wellness providers and health brands. The company says MediFlow and its developing AI capabilities are intended to bring professional knowledge, workflow tools and AI-assisted technology together within a unified platform.
Yin Yan, Bio Essence’s Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Directors, said the company’s approach is intended to help practitioners organise and use their own professional knowledge while retaining their central role in professional decision-making. Yan also described practitioner-specific AI as an intended next step in Bio Essence’s broader technology-enabled healthcare ecosystem strategy.
Bio Essence said the development programme involves risks and uncertainties. The company stated that there is no assurance that milestones will be completed on schedule or that the planned functionality will be achieved. It also identified uncertainty over pilot or commercial adoption and whether the platform will produce any particular commercial, financial or regulatory outcome. Actual results could differ materially from current expectations and assumptions.
