XCF Global Inc. (NASDAQ:SAFX) has outlined its operating strategy following the completion of its business combination with Southern Energy Renewables Inc. and DevvStream Corp. The U.S.-based renewable energy company said the combined platform brings together renewable-fuel production, feedstock and fuel technology, and carbon solutions.

XCF Global is organising the platform around three priorities: Scale, Integrate and Deliver. The company said these areas are intended to support expansion of its renewable-fuels operations, connect capabilities across the supply chain and provide fuel and environmental solutions to customers.

#New Rise Reno forms the operating base

XCF Global said its New Rise Renewables business provides the foundation for its production strategy. In September, New Rise Renewables Reno generated more than $12 million in gross product sales, shipped approximately 1.4 million gallons of renewable diesel and raised daily production to approximately 85,000 gallons per day by month-end.

The company said its modular refinery design is intended to be replicated at additional locations. According to XCF Global, individual projects can be sized around feedstock availability, customer demand and financing.

The New Rise Renewables Reno facility produces renewable diesel and has a permitted nameplate production capacity of up to 38 million gallons per year.

#Expansion and technology plans

XCF Global said it intends to pursue operating-asset optimisation, greenfield and brownfield development, and capital-efficient licensing opportunities as it expands the renewable-fuels platform.

Southern Energy Renewables is operating within the combined organisation as XCF Tech Ventures. Its contribution includes feedstock and fuel technology capabilities, biomass-to-fuels development and potential future methanol-to-jet pathways. XCF Global said these capabilities provide flexibility in facility design, feedstocks, products and development models.

The company is also seeking to advance potential expansion opportunities in Nevada, North Carolina and Florida, as well as relationships across the energy and transportation sectors. XCF Global stated that these opportunities remain subject to feasibility assessments, financing, regulatory approvals and market conditions.

#Integration of fuel and environmental assets

XCF Global said its integration approach is intended to link production, feedstock, offtake, distribution and environmental value across the renewable-fuels supply chain.

DevvStream operates within the combined platform as XCF Carbon Solutions. The business expands XCF Global’s environmental-asset management and monetisation capabilities. The company intends to monetise fuel-linked environmental attributes, including RINs, LCFS credits and 45Z tax credits.

XCF Global also said customers will have access to voluntary carbon credits and offsets, CORSIA-eligible credits and international renewable energy certificates, or I-RECs. The company described the combined offering as including physical fuel, environmental attributes or solutions that include both.

#Platform businesses and execution risks

The combined platform includes XCF New Rise Renewables, which focuses on renewable-fuel assets, development and licensing; Southern Renewables Energy, which focuses on feedstock and fuel technologies; and DevvStream, which focuses on environmental attributes and carbon solutions.

XCF Global said execution, safety and reliable supply remain central to its plans. Chief Executive Officer Chris Cooper said the company intends to expand its operating model, connect more value across the supply chain and respond to changing market and customer requirements.

The company identified risks involving domestic and international business, market, financial, political and legal conditions; higher manufacturing, operating and interest expenses; offtake negotiations or agreements; legal proceedings; and its ability to regain and maintain compliance with Nasdaq’s continued listing standards.

Other risks identified by XCF Global include integrating New Rise and implementing its business plan on the anticipated timeline, raising financing, interruptions or material changes at the New Rise Reno facility, and resolving disputes involving the facility’s ground lease and primary lender. The company also cited transaction-related costs, disruption from the business combination, competition, growth-management and personnel-retention challenges, regulatory and compliance obligations, the availability of tax credits and government support, intellectual-property issues, public-company costs, and the possibility that LOIs and MOUs may not advance to definitive agreements or commercial deployment.

XCF Global said its expectations about future performance, financial impacts, production, market opportunities and other forward-looking matters are subject to risks and uncertainties. The company stated that actual results could differ materially from those statements and that additional risks may exist.
