Valeura Energy Inc. (TSX:VLE)(OTCQX:VLERF) has reported its Q3 2026 operational and financial update, including average working-interest production of 22.1 mbbls/d before royalties, oil sales of 2.013 million bbls and revenue of US$196.1 million. The company also outlined progress on the Suraphi discovery, Bussabong gas development and Wassana redevelopment in Thailand.
#Production, sales and financial position
Valeura said production for the quarter was in line with its plan. Average realised oil prices were US$97.4/bbl, while revenue included US$22.5 million in crude oil receivables outstanding at 30 September 2026 for sales made shortly before the quarter ended.
The company anticipates collecting the US$22.5 million receivable in the early part of Q4 2026. Its cash position stood at US$384.9 million at 30 September 2026, including restricted cash of US$15.8 million. Valeura reported no debt.
The figures remain preliminary in part. Valeura said certain anticipated Q3 2026 financial and operating results are based on unaudited information. Those figures have not been audited or reviewed by the company’s auditor and may change, potentially materially, after the unaudited interim financial statements for the three and nine months ended 30 September 2026 are completed and management conducts its final review.
#Suraphi discovery and Bussabong decision
Valeura reported an exploration discovery involving the Suraphi oil field on Block G1/48, where it holds a 90% operated working interest. President and CEO Dr. Sean Guest said the company believes the discovery could extend the productive life of the Manora field and may provide further exploration and development opportunities in the area.
The company also made a final investment decision on the first phase of development of the Bussabong gas field on Block G3/65. Valeura holds a 40% non-operated working interest in the block. Thailand’s cabinet has granted executive approval for the assignment of interest to Valeura, with completion anticipated in October 2026.
#Wassana redevelopment advances
Onshore construction of the Wassana central processing platform was completed on 01 October 2026. The jacket and platform have been loaded onto vessels for transport and installation at the field, with that work starting in October 2026.
The development follows completion in September of an oil export pipeline linking the new platform with the floating storage and offloading vessel. Valeura said the project remains on track to bring forward the original redevelopment schedule by approximately two months. Development drilling is planned for late in 2026.
Management continues to forecast first oil from the platform at approximately the beginning of Q2 2027. This timing is a forward-looking statement and remains subject to the risks and assumptions identified by the company, including construction and deployment schedules, regulatory approvals, equipment availability, weather, supply-chain conditions and changes in market conditions.
#Jasmine production milestone
Valeura said cumulative production from the Jasmine field reached 100 million bbls of oil on 21 September 2026. The company also cited recognition from the Toronto Stock Exchange based on three-year share price performance, four awards from Thailand’s Ministry of Environment for environmental monitoring practices and recognition from the Society of Petroleum Engineers in Thailand for the introduction of complex multi-lateral drilling at the Nong Yao field.
#Results schedule and stated uncertainties
Valeura intends to publish its full unaudited Q3 2026 financial and operating results on 11 November 2026 and discuss them through a management webcast.
The company said its work programmes and budgets partly depend on agreement among joint venture partners, as well as exploration, development and marketing plans and anticipated costs and sales prices. These may change because of drilling results, the availability of drilling equipment, offshore storage and offloading facilities and other specialised oilfield equipment and service providers, changes in partner plans, unexpected delays and market conditions.
Valeura also identified risks relating to government and regulatory approvals, oil and gas prices, financing availability, supply-chain disruption, inflation, currency movements, interest rates, weather, geopolitical conditions, joint-venture participation and the timing and cost of planned work. The company stated that forward-looking information may prove incorrect and that actual outcomes could differ materially from its expectations.
