Relevant Gold Receives Approvals for Expanded Lewiston Drilling in Wyoming
Relevant Gold has secured approvals for expanded exploration drilling at its 100%-owned Lewiston Project in Wyoming, subject to operational and permitting conditions.
Relevant Gold Corp. (TSXV:RGC)(OTCQB:RGCCF) has received approval for expanded exploration drilling at its 100%-owned Lewiston Project in Fremont County, Wyoming. The U.S. Bureau of Land Management approved the Plan of Operations, while the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality approved the associated Drill Notice.
The approved footprint contains 29 potential drill-pad locations along the southern Burr trend and the parallel Sweetwater trend. Relevant Gold said it intends to carry out additional drilling at both targets before the end of the 2026 season, although the authorization does not require the Company to use every pad or constitute a 29-hole programme.
The work includes a Burr step-out hole positioned approximately 2 kilometres along strike from the 2024 drill area. The hole is intended to test the mapped extension below gold-bearing surface occurrences collected in 2025. Relevant Gold described the planned hole as a reconnaissance test; further drilling would be needed to establish geological and grade continuity between the step-out and the earlier drill area.
Relevant Gold said observations from the drilling and assays, when available, will be assessed alongside geological mapping, surface geochemistry and geophysical data. The results are intended to help determine 2027 targets and drill-hole designs. The Company’s 2027 plans depend on results and funding.
Completion before the end of the 2026 season remains subject to weather, safe access, rig availability, drilling progress and permit conditions. The planned work also assumes access to funding, personnel, contractors and equipment, continued authorizations, and compliance with operating, bonding and reclamation requirements.
Relevant Gold reported that its 2024 Burr programme encountered shear-hosted gold mineralization in all six holes. The programme totalled 1,026 m and covered approximately 300 m of strike to approximately 175 m of vertical depth.
One reported result from hole 24HH-4 was 2.2 g/t gold over 1.5 m of core within 1.4 g/t gold over 2.4 m of core. The Company noted that the reported intervals are core lengths and are not established true widths.
Follow-up surface work extended the interpreted Burr trend more than 2.5 km southwest of the 2024 drilling area and identified parallel mineralized shear corridors, including Sweetwater. During the 2025 southern Lewiston programme, 84 of 446 rock-chip and grab samples returned at least 0.1 g/t gold, including 34 at or above 1.0 g/t gold.
Selected Burr samples included 13.1 g/t gold and, in a separate sample, 1.66 g/t gold, 2,203 g/t silver and 12.7% copper. A Sweetwater sample returned 8.04 g/t gold, 603 g/t silver and 6.44% copper. Relevant Gold cautioned that surface samples are selective and do not establish average grades or continuity along either trend.
Airborne VTEM and magnetic data support Relevant Gold’s interpretation of structural corridors extending more than 3 km along strike at Lewiston. Geophysical responses have been modelled to more than 400 m depth. The Company said these dimensions refer to interpreted geophysical features rather than demonstrated mineralized continuity, and that electromagnetic responses can have multiple causes and do not independently establish the presence of gold.
On October 28, 2026, Relevant Gold announced 294 additional unpatented lode mining claims covering approximately 5,800 acres. The staking increased the Lewiston land position to approximately 20,000 acres and covered the interpreted southern Burr extension and nearby structural corridors.
#Relationship with the existing drilling programme
The new approvals advance applications disclosed on August 12, 2026, covering an additional 2.5 km of the Burr trend and the parallel Sweetwater trend. They complement the previously permitted 5,000 m Lewiston programme and add drill-site options across the approximately 3 km interpreted Burr trend.
Drilling remains subject to applicable operating, access, reclamation and phase-specific requirements. No new assay results were reported with the approvals. Relevant Gold also stated that the interpreted trends and geophysical targets do not establish a mineral resource or economic viability.
Relevant Gold describes itself as a North American gold exploration company with a 100% interest in five gold exploration projects covering ~60,000 acres across three historic mining districts in west-central Wyoming. Its shares trade on the TSXV under RGC and on the OTCQB under RGCCF.
The BLM approved Relevant Gold’s Plan of Operations and the Wyoming DEQ approved the associated Drill Notice for expanded Lewiston exploration.
The authorization covers 29 potential drill-pad locations along the Burr and Sweetwater trends, but does not represent a 29-hole programme.
A planned Burr step-out is approximately 2 kilometres along strike from the 2024 drill area and will test a mapped extension beneath 2025 surface occurrences.
Relevant Gold reported gold mineralization in all six 2024 Burr holes, while noting that surface samples and geophysical interpretations do not establish continuity or a mineral resource.
2026 drilling is subject to weather, access, equipment, progress, permits, funding and other operating requirements.
Relevant Gold announced that the U.S. Bureau of Land Management has approved its Plan of Operations for expanded exploration drilling at the 100%-owned Lewiston Project in Fremont County, Wyoming. The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality has also approved the associated Drill Notice.
Relevant Gold announced the approvals on November 6, 2026. The approvals support phased, multi-year exploration, with additional drilling planned at the Sweetwater and Burr targets before the end of the 2026 season.
The approved plan includes 29 drill-pad locations along the southern Burr trend and the parallel Sweetwater trend. The authorization provides drill-site options within the approved footprint; Relevant Gold said it does not commit the Company to use every pad or represent a 29-hole programme.
Relevant Gold plans to complete additional drill holes at the Sweetwater and Burr targets before the end of the 2026 season, including at least one Sweetwater hole and at least one Burr step-out. Completion is subject to weather, safe access, rig availability, drilling progress and permit conditions.
The planned Burr step-out is approximately 2 kilometres along strike from the 2024 drill area and will target the mapped extension beneath gold-bearing surface occurrences sampled in 2025. Relevant Gold describes the hole as a reconnaissance test, with additional drilling required to establish geological and grade continuity between it and the 2024 drill area.
Relevant Gold said geological observations and assays, when available, will be integrated with mapping, surface geochemistry and geophysics to guide 2027 targets and hole design. The Company also said its 2027 plans depend on results and funding.
Relevant Gold reported that its 2024 Burr programme intersected shear-hosted gold mineralization in all six holes, totalling 1,026 m over approximately 300 m of strike and to approximately 175 m vertical depth. Highlights included 2.2 g/t gold over 1.5 m core length within 1.4 g/t gold over 2.4 m core length in hole 24HH-4; the reported intervals are core lengths, not established true widths.
Across the 2025 southern Lewiston programme, 84 of 446 rock-chip and grab samples returned at least 0.1 g/t gold, including 34 at or above 1.0 g/t gold. Selected samples included 13.1 g/t gold at Burr and 8.04 g/t gold at Sweetwater, but Relevant Gold cautioned that surface samples are selective and do not establish average grades or continuity along either trend.
Relevant Gold said airborne VTEM and magnetic data support its interpretation of structural corridors at Lewiston extending more than 3 km along strike, with geophysical responses modelled to more than 400 m depth. The Company cautioned that these dimensions describe interpreted geophysical features, not demonstrated mineralized continuity, and that electromagnetic responses have multiple possible causes and do not independently establish the presence of gold.
On October 28, 2026, Relevant Gold announced 294 additional unpatented lode mining claims covering approximately 5,800 acres. The staking increased Lewiston to approximately 20,000 acres and secured ground along the interpreted southern Burr extension and adjacent structural corridors.
The expanded approvals advance applications disclosed on August 12, 2026, covering an additional 2.5 km of the Burr trend and the parallel Sweetwater trend. They complement the previously permitted 5,000 m Lewiston programme and provide additional drill-site options across the approximately 3 km interpreted Burr trend, subject to applicable operating, access, reclamation and phase-specific requirements.
Chief Executive Officer Rob Bergmann said the approvals provide an opportunity to test whether the identified mineralization forms part of a more extensive gold system. He also said the Company can test targets across an approximately three-kilometre interpreted Burr trend and begin testing the parallel Sweetwater trend, while noting that these plans involve targets supported by selected surface samples, mapping and geophysics.
Relevant Gold said the planned work assumes available funding, personnel, contractors and equipment, suitable weather and safe access, continued authorizations, and satisfaction of applicable operating, bonding and reclamation requirements. The Company also cited geological uncertainty, the possibility that surface results or geophysical responses do not correspond to mineralization at depth, operational or laboratory delays, cost increases, financing constraints and regulatory requirements; permit approvals do not guarantee completion of the planned work, exploration success, a mineral resource or economic viability.
