Meta Critical Minerals Initiates Maiden Drilling at Table Mountain Silica Project in British Columbia
Meta Critical Minerals has begun its maiden diamond drilling programme at the Table Mountain Silica Project, with approximately 1,250 metres planned across 24 holes.
Meta Critical Minerals Inc. has initiated its maiden diamond drilling programme at the 100% owned Table Mountain Silica Project near Golden, British Columbia. The work began after the company received approval and the required drilling permit under the British Columbia Mines Act.
The 2026 programme comprises approximately 1,250 metres of shallow diamond-core drilling across 24 holes. The holes are planned in a grid-based pattern focused on the main quartzite zone, with additional testing of priority targets identified during the company’s 2025 prospecting and channel sampling work.
Meta Critical Minerals said the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals approval and relevant drilling permit have been received. The company has also posted a CAD$50,500 reclamation security as a condition of the Mines Act permit.
The company says it has funds in treasury to carry out the planned 2026 programme without requiring additional financing. Drilling is expected to take approximately 3 - 6 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Table Mountain has a maiden NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate of 56,945,602 tonnes Inferred at an average grade of 98.91% SiO 2. Meta Critical Minerals said the resource remains open along strike and at depth, while the current programme represents its first test of the quartzite unit below surface.
The drilling is intended to provide technical information for an updated Mineral Resource Estimate under NI 43-101. The company’s stated objective is to define resources in the Indicated category where drill density, continuity, data quality and results support that classification. The programme will also test possible lateral and depth extensions and collect material for further metallurgical testing.
Meta Critical Minerals says drilling results will support an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and the Preliminary Economic Assessment planned for Table Mountain. Drill core is also expected to provide additional material for metallurgical work and inform the vertically integrated development strategy the company is advancing with Quad Consulting Group.
The Table Mountain property is located approximately 4 kilometres east of Golden, British Columbia, and covers roughly 2,526 hectares. The project has year-round road access and is near the CPKC Golden rail yard. The property includes up to 11 kilometres of regionally mapped strike length of the Mount Wilson Formation quartzite, with regionally mapped widths ranging from 300 to 1,400 metres at surface.
Table Mountain is near the Moberly Silica Mine and the Sinova Quartz Quarry. Meta Critical Minerals said the project’s mineralization is being evaluated separately, and noted that mineralization at nearby properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization at Table Mountain.
Initial assay results are expected during the fourth quarter of 2026, according to the company. Meta Critical Minerals identified exploration results, weather and operational delays, assay timing, contractor and equipment availability, commodity prices, financing, permitting and general market conditions as risks that could affect its expectations.
The company states that Inferred Mineral Resources have a lower level of confidence than Indicated Mineral Resources and must not be converted to Mineral Reserves. There is no certainty that drilling will upgrade or expand the existing Mineral Resource Estimate.
No preliminary economic assessment, pre-feasibility study or feasibility study has been completed on Table Mountain, and no Mineral Reserves have been established. The company also states that there is no certainty the project will advance to a production decision.
Meta Critical Minerals announced that it has initiated its maiden diamond drilling programme at its 100% owned Table Mountain Silica Project in British Columbia. Drilling is underway after the Company received its drill permit under the British Columbia Mines Act.
Meta Critical Minerals announced the programme on October 8, 2026. The announcement covers the Company's 2026 diamond drilling programme and the planned follow-up work at Table Mountain.

Yannis Tsitos, President of Meta Critical Minerals, said drilling would test the quality and continuity of the quartzite unit laterally and at depth after the Company's surface sampling and channel work. He said the results would drive an updated resource estimate and the Preliminary Economic Assessment, which he described as forming the technical foundation for advancing Table Mountain toward a production decision.
