BULGOLD Reports 21.2g/t Gold Sample and Expanded Kopernica Exploration Footprint
BULGOLD reported 2026 surface exploration results from the Kopernica Vein System, including a 21.2g/t Au float sample, new parallel vein structures and an expanded 1,700m by 800m footprint.
BULGOLD Inc. (TSXV:ZLTO) has reported results from its 2026 surface mapping and geochemical sampling programme at the Kopernica Vein System, part of the Lutila Gold Project in the Slovak Republic. The company identified a surface float boulder grading 21.2g/t Au and extended the mapped system to 1,700m by 800m.
The 21.2g/t Au result came from a float boulder positioned 200m south-southeast of drill hole KPDD005 and approximately 50m lower in relative elevation. BULGOLD described the material as a hydrothermal breccia containing separate quartz vein fragments within a quartz-rich matrix with fine-grained pyrite.
The company said the sample's location corresponds with alteration observed in KPDD005 and is consistent with its 3D geological modelling. A total of 10 rock chip samples were collected along the same 200m structural trend. Those samples averaged 1.4 g/t Ag, 742 ppm As, 109 ppm Sb and 1.4ppm Tl, according to the company.
Surface mapping increased the dimensions of the Kopernica structural corridor from 1,000m by 500m to 1,700m by 800m. BULGOLD characterises the system as a low-sulfidation epithermal gold system and is targeting underground, high-grade gold ± silver quartz veins.
The programme also identified additional vein trends within and around the 2026 drilling area. The Central Vein has been traced at surface over an approximate 500m interval and has not yet been drill tested. Seven rock chip samples from the area averaged 0.17g/t Au, 1,045ppm As and 181ppm Sb.
The Northwest Vein Structure has been traced over a strike length of approximately 650m. Two rock chip samples from an exposed hydrothermal breccia returned averages of 0.28g/t Au, 35ppm As and 150ppm Sb.
BULGOLD also reported a new target area 1,200m north of KPDD005. The area is associated with a pre-mineral quartz-amphibole porphyry intrusive dyke within rhyolite and includes low-temperature quartz veins, silicified and brecciated rock, and historic mercury workings at higher elevations.
Twelve samples collected between 590m and 640m RL averaged 246ppm As, 242ppm Sb, 0.86ppm Tl and 0.16ppm Ag. The company stated that gold mineralisation in the North East Block is not present above 600m RL, meaning the shallow samples from this target did not carry gold. BULGOLD interpreted the pathfinder results and geological textures as evidence of a preserved upper level of an epithermal system, while describing the potential gold-bearing targets as deeper.
The Lutila Gold Project is located between the Kremnica and Banská Štiavnica epithermal vein fields in Central Slovakia. BULGOLD said the project has local infrastructure, year-round road access and an established regulatory framework.
BULGOLD cautioned that historical sampling and drilling information cited in its announcement came from third-party reports. The company has not independently investigated or analysed those historical results, and said they may be unreliable or not current. It also stated that no independent quality assurance or quality control protocols are known for the historic samples and drill holes.
For its current exploration work, BULGOLD said certified reference materials, blanks and field duplicates are included in laboratory batches. Samples are analysed by SGS Burgas in Bulgaria, with gold testing performed using a conventional 50-gram fire assay and AAS finish.
BULGOLD reported a 21.2g/t Au surface float boulder from the Kopernica Vein System.
The mapped Kopernica footprint expanded to 1,700m by 800m from 1,000m by 500m.
Central and Northwest parallel vein structures were identified, with the Central Vein still untested by drilling.
A Northern Target 1,200m north of KPDD005 returned elevated arsenic, antimony, thallium and silver results, but the reported shallow samples did not carry gold.
BULGOLD said historical third-party exploration data has not been independently verified and may be unreliable.
BULGOLD Inc. announced surface exploration and geochemical sampling results from its 2026 mapping and prospecting programme at the Kopernica Vein System within the Lutila Gold Project in the Slovak Republic. The work identified a surface float boulder grading 21.2g/t Au and expanded the mapped Kopernica footprint to 1,700m by 800m.
BULGOLD Inc. announced the results on October 7, 2026. The announcement covers the 2026 mapping, prospecting and concurrent surface sampling programme carried out alongside the 2026 diamond drilling programme.
The highest reported result was 21.2g/t Au from a surface float boulder sample. BULGOLD describes the boulder as a hydrothermal breccia containing quartz vein fragments, a polymict quartz vein matrix and fine-grained pyrite.
BULGOLD Inc. expanded the mapped Kopernica structural corridor from its previous 1,000m by 500m dimensions to a continuous corridor measuring 1,700m in length and up to 800m in width. The company describes this as a 170% expansion.
The 21.2g/t Au surface float boulder was located 200m south-southeast of drill hole KPDD005 and approximately 50m lower in relative elevation. BULGOLD said this alignment matched its 3D geological and predictive modelling.
BULGOLD Inc. identified Central and Northwest parallel quartz vein structures within and around the active 2026 drilling area. The Central Vein has been traced at surface over an approximate 500m interval and has not yet been drill tested, while the Northwest Vein Structure has been traced over a strike length of approximately 650m.
Initial sampling at the Central Vein averaged 0.17g/t Au, 1,045ppm As and 181ppm Sb from seven rock chip samples. Two rock chip samples from the Northwest Vein Structure averaged 0.28g/t Au, 35ppm As and 150ppm Sb.
The New Northern Target is a mineralised area located 1,200m north of drill hole KPDD005, associated with a pre-mineral quartz-amphibole porphyry intrusive dyke within the main rhyolite package. Twelve rock chip samples from the area averaged 246ppm As, 242ppm Sb, 0.86ppm Tl and 0.16ppm Ag; the company states that the shallow surface samples did not carry gold because gold mineralisation in the North East Block is vertically constrained and not present above 600m RL.
BULGOLD Inc. describes the exploration target as underground, high-grade gold (Au) ± silver (Ag) quartz veins. President and CEO Sean Hasson said the company views the system as a multi-vein, low-sulfidation epithermal system, while the reported surface results remain exploration findings rather than a mineral resource estimate.
BULGOLD Inc. said the spatial and topographic alignment between alteration in KPDD005 and the 21.2g/t Au surface sample validated its 3D alteration vectoring framework. Technical Advisory Board member Richard Tosdal said the 21.2g/t gold-grade vein material in a surface float sample suggests upside to the Kopernica epithermal vein system.
BULGOLD Inc. is a gold exploration company focused on the exploration and development of mineral exploration projects in Central and Eastern Europe. The company states that it controls 100% of three quartz-adularia epithermal gold projects in the Bulgarian and Slovak portions of the Western Tethyan Belt: the Lutila Gold Project, the Kostilkovo Gold Project and the Kutel Gold Project.
BULGOLD Inc.'s shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker symbol TSXV:ZLTO.
BULGOLD Inc. cautions that the historical sampling and drilling information was based on prior third-party data and reports, without the company's independent investigation or analysis to verify the results. The company states that the historical data may not be reliable or current because sufficient work has not been completed by a qualified person, and that no independent quality assurance or quality control protocols are known for the historic samples and drill holes.
BULGOLD Inc. said its current sampling programme uses certified reference materials, blanks and field duplicates in each laboratory batch, with analytical work carried out at SGS Burgas, Bulgaria. Gold analyses are performed using a conventional 50-gram fire assay and AAS finish, while multi-element analyses use a four-acid digest with an ICPMS or ICP-OES finish depending on the analysis.
