ATHA Energy reports uranium mineralization across 3.4 km at Angilak’s RIB Corridor
ATHA Energy says seven additional drillholes connected the RIB North and RIB East Discoveries and extended reported mineralized continuity along the Mineralized RIB Corridor from 1.45 km to 3.4 km.
ATHA Energy Corp. has reported preliminary results from seven additional diamond drillholes at the RIB North Discovery within its 100%-owned Angilak Uranium Project in Nunavut, Canada. The company said the drilling connected the RIB North and RIB East Discoveries, extending reported mineralized continuity along the Eastern Limb of the Mineralized RIB Corridor from 1.45 km to 3.4 km.
The results cover drillholes RIBN-DD-017 through RIBN-DD-023, completed during ATHA Energy’s 2026 Angilak Exploration Program. The company said all seven holes intersected uranium mineralization.
Among the reported results, RIBN-DD-023 returned 19.5 m of total composite uranium mineralization across fourteen zones between 180.0 m and 777.5 m. The interval included 2.0 m of high-grade mineralization under the company’s stated classification.
The strongest interval in RIBN-DD-023 measured 2.5 m from 582.0 m to 584.5 m. It recorded an average reading of 6,865 CPS and a maximum reading of 26,327 CPS over 0.1 m, including 0.7 m of high-grade mineralization.
Drillhole RIBN-DD-019 intersected 2.5 m of composite uranium mineralization across three zones between 319.5 m and 740.5 m, including 0.6 m of high-grade mineralization. Its highest-grade interval measured 1.5 m from 739.0 m to 740.5 m, with an average reading of 17,593 CPS and a maximum of 78,785 CPS over 0.1 m.
RIBN-DD-022A intersected 5.5 m of total composite uranium mineralization across six zones between 490.5 m and 687.5 m. The highest-grade interval measured 1.0 m from 490.5 m to 491.5 m, with an average reading of 3,385 CPS and a maximum of 9,846 CPS over 0.1 m.
#Higher-grade sub-zone identified near RIBN-DD-001
ATHA Energy said the drilling identified a thicker, higher-grade sub-zone near the RIB North discovery hole, RIBN-DD-001. The company currently describes the sub-zone as having an approximate 300 m strike length and 300 m down-dip extent, with multiple stacked mineralized structures and similar reported thicknesses and apparent grades.
The company said the sub-zone and the wider Eastern Limb remain open and unconstrained. RIBN-DD-022A was drilled at the northeast edge of the tested Eastern Limb, where ATHA Energy said mineralization remains open for potential future northeast step-outs.
#2026 drilling activity at the Mineralized RIB Corridor
ATHA Energy said it completed 23 diamond drillholes along the Mineralized RIB Corridor during the 2026 program, with 21 holes intersecting uranium mineralization. Drilling covered both the Eastern and Western Limbs.
On the Western Limb, the company said mineralization has been traced over a ~220 m strike length. ATHA Energy also reported early indications that the secondary mineralized shear zone may connect with the RIB West Discovery, with a possible strike length of ~3.0 km.
#Preliminary results and further exploration updates
The reported results are preliminary radioactivity results, except where the company states that assay results were used. Core samples have been submitted to Saskatchewan Research Council laboratories in Saskatoon for analysis. ATHA Energy said all drill intercepts are reported as core width and that true thickness has yet to be determined.
The company defines high-grade mineralization as an interval with radioactivity above 10,000 CPS from a downhole gamma probe. Its total gamma results were selected using an average cutoff above 300 CPS over intervals of 0.1 metre width.
ATHA Energy said additional preliminary results from drillholes along the Lac 50 Deposit Corridor, including the Lac 50 NW Discovery area, will be released in the coming weeks. The company also said it plans to document its interpretation of an Orogenic Uranium-Rich Deposit Model in the coming weeks.
The company’s release states that the Angilak Project has no known mineral resources or reserves. ATHA Energy’s statements about future events reflect its current view and depend on assumptions and estimates that it considers reasonable, while remaining subject to business, economic, competitive, political and social risks, contingencies and uncertainties.

ATHA Energy announced additional preliminary diamond drilling results from the Mineralized RIB Corridor at the RIB North Discovery, completed as part of its 2026 Angilak Exploration Program. The results cover seven drillholes, RIBN-DD-017 to RIBN-DD-023, and connect the RIB North and RIB East Discoveries, expanding the reported mineralized strike length from 1.45 km to 3.4 km along the Eastern Limb of the Mineralized RIB Corridor.

ATHA Energy is a Canadian mineral company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of uranium assets. Its portfolio includes the 100%-owned Angilak Project in Nunavut, CMB Discoveries in Labrador and the GMZ high-grade uranium discovery in the Athabasca Basin.
ATHA Energy reported that all seven of the additional drillholes intersected uranium mineralization. The results included 19.5 m of total composite uranium mineralization over fourteen zones in RIBN-DD-023, 2.5 m over three zones in RIBN-DD-019 and 5.5 m over six zones in RIBN-DD-022A; the reported intervals are based on preliminary radioactivity results unless otherwise stated.
