First Class Metals says James Goozee will become largest shareholder after transactions

First Class Metals PLC (FCM) reported a rebalancing of its shareholder register following recent transactions involving The 79th GRP Limited (in Administration).

• The 79th GRP Limited (in Administration), referred to as the 79th Group, reduced its shareholding in First Class Metals, resulting in what the Company called a material rebalancing.
• Following completion of the recent transactions, James Goozee increased his shareholding and will become the Company’s single largest shareholder. Mr Goozee first joined the register in 2022.
• The Board welcomed Anthony Charles Harris and Darren Andrew Rowlands to the register as significant shareholders.
• The formal conclusion of the Offer Period, alongside the reduced 79th Group holding, provides what the Company described as greater clarity around ownership structure.
• The Company continues to engage constructively with the administrators regarding the remaining 79th Group shareholding and supports an orderly and responsible outcome.
• James Knowles, Executive Chairman, said the Company can concentrate on executing its exploration programme and advancing its corporate strategy after the Offer Period concluded.

The Company said the introduction of experienced, high-net-worth investors alongside existing long-term holders represents a meaningful strengthening and diversification of its shareholder base.
