HyProMag has officially opened its second rare earth magnet facility in Pforzheim, Germany, significantly enhancing its capacity for recycling and manufacturing. This new facility is designed for the separation and recycling of rare earth magnets, utilizing the proprietary Hydrogen Processing of Magnet Scrap (HPMS) technology, for which HyProMag holds exclusive licensing rights.
The Pforzheim facility boasts an initial production capacity of 100 metric tons per year for Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) magnets, with plans to scale up to approximately 350 metric tons annually. Discussions for potential further expansion to 750 metric tons per year are also underway.
