High Tide Resources Corp. has announced significant progress in its 2026 drilling program at the Labrador West Iron Project, located in western Labrador. As of mid-July, the company has drilled a total of 3,500 metres of HQ core, showing strong production rates and quality core samples.
The drilling operation is being conducted safely and efficiently, with the team achieving an average drilling length of approximately 280 metres per hole. So far, twelve drill holes have been completed with two more currently in progress. Daily production is averaging around 80 metres, keeping the project on schedule.
High Tide Resources is awaiting assay results from the drilled core, which are expected by the end of the month, aligning with the laboratory's four-to-six-week processing timeframe. The ongoing metallurgical tests at SGA's laboratory in Germany involve pilot-scale assessments using 2.5 tonnes of coarse reject drill core material collected during the 2022 program.
In conjunction with the drilling, the company has completed a drone-based magnetic geophysical survey over the central and eastern sections of the project area. The processed results are anticipated soon and will aid in updating geological models and optimizing future exploration targets.
