Fortitude Gold Corp. has reported multiple gold-bearing drill intercepts from the East Camp Douglas lithocap target in Mineral County, Nevada. The results include 1.52 meters grading 2.85 grams per tonne (g/t) gold within 12.19 meters grading 0.87 g/t gold.

Other reported intervals include 3.05 meters grading 1.76 g/t gold within 9.14 meters grading 0.83 g/t gold, and 3.05 meters grading 1.85 g/t gold within 10.67 meters grading 0.77 g/t gold.
For hole ECDRC-396, Fortitude reported 12.19 meters grading 0.87 g/t gold, including 1.52 meters grading 1.12 g/t gold and a separate 1.52-meter interval grading 2.85 g/t gold. Hole ECDRC-395 included 10.67 meters grading 0.77 g/t gold, including 3.05 meters grading 1.85 g/t gold.
#East Camp Douglas setting
The East Camp Douglas lithocap is described as a 1.5 by 1.0-kilometer hydrothermal alteration zone. The property is in the Silver Star mining district of Mineral County, approximately 6 mi (10 km) southwest of Mina.
Fortitude describes low-sulfidation gold-bearing mineralisation associated with a silica lithocap in the southern portion of the property. The northern area contains high-sulfidation style gold-bearing mineralisation. The company has reported high-grade gold mineralisation from exploration drilling in both areas.
The property includes 540 unpatented lode mineral claims, 24 unpatented placer claims, 12 patented mining claims and two fee land parcels.
#Permitting and exploration work
Fortitude submitted the East Camp Douglas Exploration Plan of Operations and Nevada Reclamation Permit application in the first quarter of 2026. The application was submitted to the Bureau of Land Management and the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection Bureau of Regulation and Reclamation.
The company says the exploration permit is expected to make approximately 25 acres available for drilling under Phase One of a multiphase authorisation covering a total of 150 acres. Three exploration drills are currently operating at East Camp Douglas.
Property-scale airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys were completed in May, while a Controlled-Source Audio-Frequency Magnetotellurics survey was completed in August. Shortwave Infrared work is also being carried out on surface and drilled samples. Fortitude says the data is being combined with mapping and drilling results to develop a 3D structural interpretation and assess possible feeder-zone structures.
#Joint venture structure
East Camp Douglas is held through a joint venture in which Fortitude Gold owns 60% and Hawthorne Land & Minerals, LLC owns 40%. Fortitude contributed the property, while Hawthorne is contributing a total of $40 million for exploration and development.
Fortitude said its current exploration work could support a transition to a larger targeted exploration programme if the large-scale exploration permit is granted. The company’s statements about future exploration plans are forward-looking and subject to risks and uncertainties.
#Company and project context
Fortitude Gold is a U.S.-based gold producer, developer and explorer. Its Nevada Mining Unit consists of eight gold properties. The Isabella Pearl Project and County Line Project are currently in production in Mineral and Nye Counties, Nevada.
East Camp Douglas is the exception to Fortitude’s wholly owned properties, being held through the 60% joint venture. The company’s release states that actual results could differ materially from forward-looking statements and that there is no assurance those statements will prove accurate.
