Barton Gold Holdings Limited has disclosed significant findings from soil assays conducted at the Tolmer and Black Oak Tank projects in South Australia. The results demonstrate promising extensions of high-grade silver and emerging gold targets, enhancing the growth potential for mineralisation in these areas.
Drilling activities carried out between May and June 2025 confirmed substantial extensions in the high-grade silver presence within the ‘western silver zone’. Silver grades were reported between approximately 200 and 4,750 grams per tonne (g/t). Additionally, notable gold concentrations, ranging from 5 to 50 g/t, were observed alongside the silver findings, indicating a potentially valuable mineral association.
The latest soil assays suggest a northwest-southeast orientation for the mineralisation at Tolmer. This aligns with broader surface anomalies for gold, silver, and lead across the site. The findings have also highlighted opportunities for new untested targets situated between the established ‘western silver zone’ and the ‘eastern gold zone’, signaling the potential for expanded resource outlines.
Pending assays from recent diamond drilling, amounting to 595.3 meters, are expected to be released by early November 2025. These results will further elucidate the structural configurations of the mineralisation, assisting in future exploration strategies. Barton Gold’s Managing Director, Alexander Scanlon, expressed optimism about the implications of these findings for guiding follow-up drilling efforts.
Recent soil assays indicate broad surface gold, silver, and lead anomalies across the Tolmer project, suggesting significant growth potential and the possibility of material extensions to high-grade mineralisation.
Drilling results from May to June 2025 confirmed extensions of high-grade silver, with grades reaching up to 4,750 g/t. This reinforces the optimism around the project's potential, particularly in the western silver zone.
The historical silver intersection, ranked as the fifth highest globally, reflects the exceptional quality of the mineralisation at Tolmer, heightening interest in the project's future drilling and exploration activities.
New soil assay results have revealed previously untested targets between the western silver and eastern gold zones, highlighting additional opportunities for exploration that could significantly enhance resource potential.
Investors can anticipate results from the 595.3m diamond drilling in early November 2025, which is expected to provide critical insights into structural controls and further inform follow-up drilling strategies.
As an established developer with substantial resources, Barton Gold's strategy is bolstered by its access to capital and expertise, which enhances its ability to effectively pursue exploration and development opportunities in the highly prospective Gawler Craton.
The suggested northwest-southeast orientation of mineralisation at Tolmer points to a potentially extensive mineralised system, indicating exciting possibilities for future discoveries and resource expansion.
The next steps include analysing upcoming drill results, refining targets based on recent assays, and continuing exploration efforts to unlock the full potential of the Tarcoola Gold Project, which remains a key focus for future growth.
